The verb in the weil clause goes to the end
Weil can start the sentence or come in the middle
More common in spoken German than da

Used to answer “Warum?” (Why?)

Weil sie in Berlin arbeitet, lernt sie Deutsch.
Because she works in Berlin, she’s learning German.

Er trinkt Kaffee, weil er müde ist.
He drinks coffee because he’s tired.

Weil wir keine Zeit haben, können wir nicht kommen.
Because we don’t have time, we can’t come.

Sie geht zum Arzt, weil sie krank ist.
She’s going to the doctor because she’s sick.

Weil das Wetter schön ist, gehen wir in den Park.
Because the weather is nice, we’re going to the park.

Ich lerne Deutsch, weil ich nach Deutschland ziehen möchte.
I’m learning German because I want to move to Germany.

Weil er Hunger hat, isst er etwas.
Because he’s hungry, he’s eating something.
